Artist Statement

I’ve been an artist my whole life but I recently fell back in love with painting clouds and landscapes. My current series, Nostalgia, aims to recall a past that we hold in our minds and also recognize that past is no longer possible. The otherworldly yet still earthly landscapes ask us to imagine what we want for our future. I believe we must actively protect the earth before it’s too late, that’s why 50 percent of all my profits go to The Nature Conservancy of South Carolina in an effort to help preserve our natural lands.

I graduated from USC in 2014 with a BA in Studio Art. Creating has always been my way of calming my mind and finding presence in the moment, a meditative practice that continues to shape my work today. Through each piece, I hope to create space for reflection, inviting others to pause, feel, and connect with their own memories and emotions through the quiet power of color and form.

When I'm not creating, you can find me doing volunteer work with a few local non-profits, enjoying life and travel with my partner, or enjoying time at home with our 2 dogs and 3 cats. I am also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Anthropology.
